Upside?
The Pecos Lady Panthers have it.
Pecos got a sizable contribution from several younger players Tuesday in a successful season debut, a 35-28 win against Bosque.
Sophomore Ida Valencia fell just two thefts short of a triple-double, tallying a team-high 15 points plus 10 rebounds and eight steals to lead the Lady Panthers.
Fellow sophomore KeeAnna Trujillo had seven points, six boards and four assists, and eighth-grader Brooke Gallegos chipped in five points and four rebounds.
It was Bosque’s fourth game of the season but Pecos’ first.
