Five for fighting.
Actually, make that five for wrestling.
Five grapplers in the Las Vegas junior wrestling program placed among the elite in the Panhandle Nationals Nov. 29 in Lubbock, Texas.
One of them, Rico Montoya, won his division outright, compiling a 5-0 record to capture the championship in the 70-pound weight class for wrestlers 11 and younger.
The Panhandle Nationals tournament is one of several major national events on the junior wrestling circuit, and it draws young competitors from across the region.
