ALBUQUERQUE — Nevada’s Cody Fajardo threw three touchdown passes and ran for a career-high 186 yards Saturday to help the Wolf Pack beat New Mexico 31-24 and end a three-game losing streak.
Fajardo hit Brandon Wimberly from 2 yards out for what proved to be the winning score with 4 minutes left in the third quarter for Nevada (7-4, 4-3 Mountain West).
