Will Martinez win here?

Local Republicans were pumped up after their rally with GOP gubernatorial candidate Susana Martinez on Saturday night.

One woman told me afterward that she expected Martinez to beat Democrat Diane Denish in San Miguel County.

That likely won't happen. After all, Barack Obama got a whopping 79 percent here.

While Martinez will certainly do better than most Republicans here, I really doubt she'll take a majority of the local vote.
