Would really appreciate some feedback, either here or on my email at: medcaremedia@yahoo.com

I'm not being paid to write these articles and I try to provide a different "slant" to each.

Constructive criticism, please! Thanks, Happy New Year, All the best in 2012!

Coach Levra & Pencil Necks...

Back 10 years ago, just before Coach Levra retired as defensive line coach with the Buffalo Bills, I had the pleasure of meeting him at the Sheraton, Secaucus, NJ where he introduced me to some of his defensive linemen, who looked more like "GODZILLA," just the head planted on the shoulders with no neck! What you said now makes alot of sense. We had a great meeting reliving some of HU's football glory days back in the late 60's...Thanks for your comments!

Lotsa Views

Another form of feedback you receive is that each and every person who decides to look at one of your stories counts as a "view." Your numbers are impressive. These folks first have to care enough about Las Vegas news to get a profile on this site. Then they have to care enough about discussions to enter the readers forum. Then they have to choose to look at one of your stories. And they do, by the hundreds in some cases.

What Reader's Think

I just got back on the Optic Readers Forum after a long absence, and I must say that I really enjoy your posts. You do your homework, and it would take people with more knowledge of HU sports than I have to disagree or add anything. Keep up the good work. Now that there are posts in the forum, I will try to check in more often.

Did you know that Coach Levra was prone to calling non-athletes "pencil necks?" I got to return the favor once when he dropped his own pencil on a crowded stairway in Burris Hall.
