Four West Las Vegas players scored in double figures Friday evening to lead the Dons to an 80-65 victory over visiting Ruidoso.
It was a bounce-back win for West (3-7), which recently endured a difficult three-day run in the Stu Clark Tournament.
The Dons owned the opening period for a 22-8 lead and took a 45-27 spread at the break.
“I think our kids did some of the stuff we’ve been trying to work on,” said WLV assistant coach Clyde Sanchez.
