WEEKEND ROUNDUP: Lady Dons unbeaten in shootout

Four Lady Dons finished in double figures Saturday night as West Las Vegas completed an undefeated three-day run in the seventh annual Brian Gallegos Invitational at the Wilson Complex.

In the de-facto championship game of the round-robin shootout, WLV (4-0) sailed to a 68-51 win over Ruidoso.

Linda Esquibel, playing her usual aggressive offense, scored 16 points to pace the Lady Dons. Geneva Rivera had 14, and Kristen Encinias and Vanessa Lucero 10 apiece.
