A 4-0 shutout of visiting Taos this past Thursday gave the Robertson girls’ soccer team an important win over a chief district rival.
“As expected, it was an extremely competitive battle between the two teams,” said RHS head coach Ian Williamson.
After allowing two goals in the first eight minutes, Taos put up a fight, with a physical, hard-playing defense funneling the ball upfield.
But the Lady Cardinals were ready, and goalkeeper Ashley Jaramillo was credited with 12 saves while preserving a shutout.
