A day before 34th birthday, a Las Vegas man who says he was hungry and homeless burglarized a house where some of his relatives live, state police say.
Jason Christopher Byrer was charged with burglary, breaking and entering, and larceny.
According to a criminal complaint, Byrer’s cousin was awakened around noon on April 21 when Byrer came into a house in the 3400 block of Seventh Street. Byrer told his cousin that he was in there to pick up some of his clothing; Byrer lived in the house until two months before. After a short conversation, Byrer left.
