Two years ago, a number of communities in the Valley joined forces to get money for their water systems. Now, they’ll start seeing the results of their work.
Today, El Valle Water Alliance is officially launching its efforts to improve its water infrastructure.
As a quasi-governmental entity, the alliance received $1 million from the state Legislature. And it plans to spend most of the money on 12,000 feet of pipeline and wellhouse upgrades for El Ancon, Corruco and El Cerrito.
