ALBUQUERQUE — The Lobos’ 12-game undefeated streak to start the season hit an unexpected speed bump Saturday at The Pit.

You could say it got “jacked” by the Jackrabbits.

Nate Wolters scored 28 points and handed out seven assists, leading South Dakota State to a 70-65 upset of No. 16 New Mexico. UNM plays a highly anticipated game at No. 11 Cincinnati (12-0) on Wednesday night.
