“Forget it, Jake. It’s Tiger Town.”
Jake Ulibarri rushed for nearly 300 yards and scored four times Friday night in one of the finest individual efforts in West Las Vegas football history.
But it wasn’t quite enough to win the game in regulation, and the host Raton Tigers trumped West in overtime, 34-28.
After the Tigers kept Ulibarri from getting any closer than their 3-yard line in the Dons’ opening possession of overtime, they backed West to the original line of scrimmage on fourth down.
