Mark Mulder’s scheduled swan song on his rehab stint with the Memphis Redbirds didn’t go as well as he might’ve expected.

On their way to an 11-6 road win Thursday night, Albuquerque Isotopes battered Mulder with six runs on six. hits and two walks in the first inning and led 6-2 by inning’s end. Mulder ended up getting yanked after three and two-thirds innings after surrendering six runs, all earned, and 10 hits.
