THUMBS UP! THE VOTERS SPEAK. The world didn’t come to a halt just for New Mexico’s primary election day. In fact, around here in San Miguel County one could say that it actually sped up a little, with all the other news that sprang to life — a fire in the watershed, a dramatic sentencing, word of a budgetary shortfall and much more. But people still turned out at the polls and cast their ballots, and the democratic process was advanced yet again. Thanks to all who did their duty.
