THUMBS UP! WOULDN’T IT BE GREAT? It’s long been a dream for all sorts of Las Vegas and area residents — to re-create the Montezuma Skating Pond — and a recent meeting breathed new life into the idea. Las Vegas City Council member Joey Herrera, and about a dozen people, including other city officials, the United World College and some Montezuma residents, are getting serious about reopening the pond to ice skating.
