THUMBS UP! IMPRESSIVE TURNOUT. It’s not often that one sees a runoff turn out more voters than the election that created the runoff, but that’s exactly what happened with the Las Vegas runoffs, which concluded earlier this week. The 2,604 votes cast were 65 voters more than turned out for the eight candidates on the March 6 ballot. Likewise, 25 more voters turned out for the runoff than before.
