THUMBS UP! INFORMATIVE FORUM. Water, the chamber contract, the city’s plan for a gateway into town, and much, much more were fodder for discussion at Monday’s mayoral candidate forum held at Memorial Middle School by the Optic. About 75 people attended the event and got to see all eight candidates addressing the issues, sometimes with rock-solid reasoning, other times with a fair amount of passion.
