The state Board of Finance signed off Tuesday on nearly $2.1 million in bonds for the Mora County Complex, a move that clears the way for the long-stalled project to move forward.
“I think this is a major step forward for Mora County,” said Mora County Commissioner Paula Garcia. “Our goal is to provide a healthy and safe space for our citizens and employees so they can conduct county business.”
Commission Chairman John Olivas in a statement said the county is looking forward and taking the next steps toward completion of the facility.
