I was amused by the list of all of the consequences that will, or might occur, as a result of the proposed low-flight training by the Air Force in the area.
Local activists were able to hustle 150 people to protest the Air Force plans for said training with such excuses that it will hurt our water supply, contaminate our land with spilled fuel and scare animals. Being stationed at a fighter base in a war zone during the Korean War, I’d rather have friendly low-flying aircraft over my head than enemy aircraft.
