Shined light, stepped on toes

And so Tom McDonald rides out to seek his own sunset. Perhaps being a self-described “misfit” himself is what helped make him so fearless.

Mr. McDonald, in his eight years at the helm, has shined more light on the shenanigans in Las Vegas and stepped on more toes — including my own when I deserved it — than any publisher I’ve known in the 25 years I have been a subscriber.
