Santa Rosa girls top Mora

A clash between two of the better Class 2A girls’ basketball teams in New Mexico bounced the way of the Santa Rosa Lions on Tuesday night.

Santa Rosa outscored host Mora by nine points in the second half to come away from the Montoya Gym with a 52-40 victory. The fifth-ranked Lions improved to 11-5, while the Rangerettes slipped to 12-5.
