The Optic suggests a centrist presidential candidate (editorial, Oct. 19). Mainstream news media portray Mitt Romney as the only candidate to defeat Obama.
Obama leads in donations from banks, and his campaign fund is expected to reach $1 billion. Large banks are Romney’s highest donors, Goldman Sachs giving him $354,000.
Both are bought by powerful lobbies demanding favorable legislation allowing them to steal from the 99 percent. Voters have no choice from an establishment controlled by money junkies.
