Robertson golfers first in own event

A pair of first-place finishes was the reward for a strong Robertson High effort in the Meadow City Golf Invitational held Monday at the Gene Torres Golf Course.

Robertson’s girls shot “extremely well” in the words of coach Gene Gurule. The Lady Cardinals posted a state-qualifying team score of 377, also good for first place.  

This gives the Lady Cardinals their final team-qualifying leg for state competition this coming spring.
