Triggers and Robbers add Losses

Raton Beat Trinidad tonight 5-4 in Raton, and Thursday night's game between Roswell and Las Vegas finally posted up -- an 8-7 loss for the Robbers. These two losses leave the Robbers two wins short of the Triggers and still listed as tied with the Triggers for first place in the Pecos League North.

No score posted as of now for today's Robbers game.

Trinidad wins two and Vegas 1

The Trinidad Triggers now have two more wins than the Las Vegas Train Robbers in the tight Pecos League North race, according to current league statistics.

Taos beat last place Raton away on Wednesday 11-1, whie Las Vegas beat league leading Roswell at home 6-5.

On the fourth, Trinidad beat Raton 8-1 at home, while the scheduled game between the Robbers and Roswell at home shows no score.

Today, Roswell is still in Las Vegas and Trinidad is in Raton.

The league standings show Trinidad with two more wins than Las Vegas, with a couple of games to be made up. That computes to a zero game lead for the Triggers.

Robbers are slightly behind Trinidad (Maybe)

A Las Vegas Train Robbers game once on the Pecos League schedule for Monday, July 1, does not seem to have happened. Trinidad's Monday game against Roswell was rained out and will be rescheduled. On Tuesday Trinidad beat Raton 8-7 at home, while the Robbers appear to have been idle. All that leaves the Robbers one win short of a tie for first place in the Pecos League North but zero games back, according to the standings.

Today, Wednesday, July 3, the Robbers will play Roswell at home and Trinidad will play Raton away.
