Riders sweep NMMI

In one of the most successful weekends for Luna Community College baseball, the Rough Riders swept New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell over the weekend. They won 2-1, 9-4 (12 innings), 8-2 and 3-1.

LCC is 5-11 on the year. They play at Trinidad State on Friday and Saturday in doubleheader games. They are scheduled to play Dodge City College at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, in a nine-inning game at New Mexico Highlands University’s Brandt Park.
