The Robertson High School Lady Cardinals will be conducting their annual youth soccer camp on Aug. 6-8.
The camp will be for kids ages 4-12. Cost will be $30 for campers who attend from 8 a.m. to noon, or $20 for those campers who stay from 8 to 10 a.m. (recommended for ages 4-5). The camp will be held at the Robertson soccer field off Mills Avenue. Registration will take place right before the first session, beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Aug. 6.
The Lady Cardinals are coming off their best season in school history when they finished as district champions with a 19-3 record and advanced to the semifinals of the state tournament.
Also of note to local youth soccer players, Las Vegas Youth Soccer League is conducting in-person and online registration for the fall 2013 season. Registration deadline is Saturday, Aug. 10. Log on to lasvegasyouthsoccer.org for details.

New Mexico Highlands University’s women’s track and field program is hosting the NMHU Speed Camp beginning 8:30 a.m. Monday at the NMHU track at Perkins Stadium.
This camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday.
Cost is $75 with discounts for families with more than one camper.
Patrick Johnson, who has mentored Olympic-level athletes, and Molly Cummings, who has guided All-Americans, will serve as the primary coaches for the camp.
All ages and ability levels are welcome to take part in the camp, which focuses on building speed and agility.
