Regional water symposium being held Tuesday

A water symposium for northeastern New Mexico has been scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 30 at Luna Community College in Las Vegas.

The day will include speakers and discussions focusing on the region’s water plans.

Jointly sponsored by Community 1st Bank of Las Vegas, Luna Community College and the State Engineer, the event will be held in the Allied Health Lecture Hall on the Luna campus.
