Regional career fair to be held

Dozens of schools, organizations and employers plan on taking part in the regional Transition Fair at West Las Vegas High School today. It is the fifth annual such event.

The first two years, the fair was hosted by Highlands University. Robertson High School took its turn for the next two years, and West Las Vegas High School will oversee the event this year and next.

Cathy Lucero, director of special education, is coordinating the fair and addressed the West Las Vegas school board last week to invite the members to attend.
