Reading program scheduled

This year’s summer reading program will begin Wednesday, June 18. The program will meet 10 to 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday for six weeks, ending July 23.

Special events planned for this year’s program include a visit from Miss New Mexico, the Las Vegas Fire Department, storyteller Andy Mason, a puppet show, Scott and Johanna Hongell-Darsee, and Zoo-to-You.

Participants who complete their reading log are eligible for weekly prizes.
