Mora boys’ basketball coach James Branch says his Rangers are among the most dangerous teams in Class 2A as the season nears its conclusion.
“I think we are back in full force,” he said. “We have suffered numerous injuries the past three weeks, but our game against Peñasco this weekend was a good indication that we are still in the thick of things.”
The Rangers downed the Panthers 78-58 on Saturday, getting big efforts from Lorenzo Chavez (29 points), Cody Najar (23 points, 11 rebounds) and Jeremiah Olivas (10 points, eight boards).
