Mora’s girls’ basketball team opened its District 4-2A schedule with a 62-27 romp over Santa Fe Prep on Wednesday evening, getting big offense from those two Rangerette starters.
Romo, Mora’s center, scored 17 of her team-high 19 points by halftime, leading the Rangerettes to a 24-13 lead. Mora’s team defense had held the Blue Griffins to three points in the first eight minutes.
