• Las Vegas Senior Center Improvement Groundbreaking Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 18 at 500 Sabino Street. The improvements will include a new flagpole, automatic water closet flush valves and faucets and, with the push of a button, automatic restroom doors. In addition, the existing fenced vehicle area will be covered with a metal roof, adding to ease of operation and overnight vehicle security. The Daily Congregate Meal will be sponsored by the Mayor’s Community Initiative Fund. For more information, call 454-1401.
