• The Miss Las Vegas / Miss San Miguel County Pageant at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the West Las Vegas High School Cafeteria. The pageant is a preliminary of the Miss America Pageant. The phases of competition are interview, talent, swim suit, evening wear and on-stage question. Four  young women will compete for scholarships and a chance to represent the area at the Miss New Mexico Pageant this June.
