Elks Lodge 408 will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, at the Robertson High School football field.

United World College-USA Spring Concert will take place at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, in the Montezuma Castle Dining Hall. The free program at the international high school in Montezuma also will feature student soloists, Silk Road Ensemble and music improvisation, Latin and string ensembles. April 20 to April 23
New Mexico Women in Film has planned a quadri-city ​F​ilm Fiesta in Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe. The fiesta will be presented at the Highlands University’s Ilfeld Auditorium on Thursday, April 20. The screening will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. with an intermission 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets for each location are $15. More information is available at NMWIF.com.

April 21
The City of Las Vegas and the Community Development department will host a singing competition. The competition will be held from 3:30 to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 21, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, which is located on 1700 North Grand Avenue. The winner of the competition will sing the National Anthem at the opening ceremonies on June 30 in order to kick off the 2017 Fourth of July Fiestas. The Highlands University Department of Music presents the university’s Jazz Ensemble in concert at 7 p.m. on April 21 in the Student Center Theater, 800 National Ave. Ticket prices are $8. Highlands University students with valid IDs are free along with other students with IDs.

West Las Vegas BPA will host a bingo fundraiser at 12:30 p.m. on April 22 at the West Las Vegas High School gym. Tickets are $5.

San Miguel County Magistrate Court hours: Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays.

The Winter Tri-County Farmers Market meets at Mallette’s every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon until May. Products include fresh bread, eggs, dairy including milk, cream, yogurt, cheese; summer sausage, jerky sticks, jerky, beef and pork; medicinal herbs and remedies including trementina, lemon grass, cota, sage; personal care products including lotion, hand cream, soap; osha tincture, chokecherry vinegar, mustard greens, kale and spinach; home care products; vegetables including sprouts, salad greens, radishes, turnips, chile, garlic; and house plants.
