Las Vegas police are continuing to investigate a brawl that broke out at a fundraising event Saturday night and left four people injured.

Officers were dispatched to El Rialto restaurant on Bridge Street at about 10:15. Saturday night in reference to a fight in progress in the restaurant’s patio. Commander Ken Jenkins, of the Las Vegas Police Department, said there was a fundraising event for a cancer patient going on at the time.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man armed with a knife. He was ordered to put the weapon down and complied, Jenkins said.

He added that three people were sent to the hospital for their injuries, at least one of them, by ambulance. Jenkins said two of those people sustained injuries from a sharp object, possibly a knife.

A fourth person who was injured declined medical treatment.

None of the injuries were life threatening. The people who went to the hospital “were cared for and released that same evening,” Jenkins said.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.

Jenkins said the investigation is ongoing.

“We’re still trying to piece a few things together,” he said.

Jenkins said investigators are still trying to locate some of the people involved in the incident.

“It was a large crowd, a large fight,” he said.

Las Vegas police are consulting with the district attorney’s office on the case.
