PNM customers used to paying their electric bills in person at the company’s Railroad Avenue office won’t have that option much longer.
Public Service Company of New Mexico has announced it is closing its eight remaining payment centers across the state, including the one in Las Vegas. The company had previously discontinued its payment centers in most other communities in 2009.
The Las Vegas payment center will close on Dec. 16. Two local employees will be laid off as a result.
