Plea deal reached in stabbing case

The 24-year-old Las Vegas man arrested in June for allegedly stabbing three men at a house on the 2500 block of Hot Springs Boulevard has reached a plea agreement in the case.

Walter Maes, whose address has previously been listed as the 400 block of Bernice Drive, pleaded guilty last week to three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, third-degree felonies, and to one count of tampering with evidence, a fourth-degree felony.
