Plaza Hotel to show Cowboys-Lobos game

Want to check out Tuesday night’s Cowboys-Lobos basketball game but can’t make the trip to the Duke City?

Thanks to the Plaza Hotel, you can still watch the big game.

The Plaza will show a live telecast of the game via closed circuit on a 10-foot TV screen in its newly refurbished ballroom. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and tipoff is set for 7. Refreshments will be available. And the hotel is offering the game without a cover charge.

Troy Denison of the Plaza said the hotel has purchased rights to show Highlands men’s basketball games this season. Road games will be shown in the ballroom, he said.

“There’s a lot of interest in the Cowboys this year,” Denison said.
