If court filings are any indication, there’s no love lost between Highlands University officials and the man chosen by Gov. Susana Martinez to be the university’s newest regent.
Martinez has chosen Carl G. Foster to replace Regent Nancy Long. Foster, a former adjunct faculty member who taught education courses at the university’s Rio Rancho Center, is currently suing Highlands and a number of its current and former officials, alleging breach of contract because it stopped using him to teach classes after a graduate student complained that Foster bullied her.
