Pecos boys fifth in Tri-City; RHS girls lose in Roswell

The Pecos Panthers captured fifth place in the Tri-City Tournament, with a 65-61 come-from-behind win over Cimarron on Monday.

The Panthers trailed by as much as 13 midway through the third period before rallying for their sixth win of the season.

The Panthers took a 15-8 lead after the first period before the Rams outscored Pecos 23-13 in the second period and took a 31-28 lead. Cimarron started the third period on a 15-5 run and a 46-33 lead.
