Yes, my priorities change as I get older. Christmas and New Year celebrations are fun, but my favorite day is December 21, winter solstice day.  Whew! We have finally celebrated the shortest sunlit day and now every day will be a few more minutes longer.

This has been a crazy weather year, and nothing has changed. I’ll be back off on creating a skating pond at Montezuma for the moment because we have not had enough really cold nights to make that necessary, deep, hard ice.
