May is kicked off with Mother’s Day. Graduations are just around this big day.

I feel my mother’s presence all around me, often, and I suspect she continues to keep a watchful eye on this old ranch.

Mother would be proud of her five grandkids. They have inherited her spunk and spirit genes, as did sweet brother Bill and I.

Our mother was very different, very British, very strict. Bill and I finally figured that out, but not before we tried to get away with all sorts of things.
