SANTA FE — Las Vegas Day at the Legislature is a chance for elected officials, students and curious Las Vegans to take a look at the legislative process, poke around the ornate Roundhouse and cajole, beg and lobby for pet projects they think will enhance the quality of life in the Meadow City.

Residents from around Las Vegas were elbow to elbow in the gallery leading to the Rotunda, some manning booths from the city and county while others huddled with lawmakers and legislative aides.
