Let’s see if I understand this. Fireworks are banned in San Miguel County, but people can set them off in Las Vegas?
Walk around town. Everyone has yards full of dead grass and weeds. The trees are half dead and dried out. The town is a tinderbox.
The people of Luna, Carlsbad, Raton, and now Santa Fe are, or have been, living with the fear of losing their homes to fire.
But, no doubt because of the precious fiestas, we are going to let people in Las Vegas play with fireworks this July?
