New Mexico Highlands’ women’s track and field team are breathing rarified air these days, having jumped four spots to No. 11 in the NCAA Division II national rankings released Tuesday by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
It’s the highest in-season ranking in the program’s history.
