NMHU softball goes 2 for 5 at Desert Stinger in Sin City

In the warm climes of Sin City, breaking the ice on the 2013 softball season was just a figure of speech.

New Mexico Highlands won two of five games over the weekend in the Desert Stinger Softball Tournament hosted by Montana State-Billings in the remote venue of Las Vegas, Nev.

Cowgirl shortstop Brittany Potter was named to the All-Tournament Second Team, and the Cowgirls moved to 4-5 overall.
