NMHU runners in NCAA Preview: Chavez, Samano cross finish line first

Highlands teammates Henrique Chavez and Ismael Samano ran to a photo finish at the front of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s NCAA Preview Cross Country Meet on Monday.

Notably, the one-two finish by Chavez and Samano bested the runners fielded by perennial national juggernaut Adams State.

The course was a longer-than-usual 10-kilometer path hosted by RMAC school Regis University at the Willis Case Golf Course in Denver.
