NMHU runner 25th in national meet

Laurent Ngirakamaro concluded his collegiate distance running career in style on Saturday, finishing 25th in the NCAA Division II national cross country championships.

Ngirakamaro posted a time of 31:57 in the men's 10-kilometer race held in Slippery Rock, Pa. The New Mexico Highlands University senior closes a strong two-year run at the Las Vegas school that included an All-American showing in the 2007 national meet.
