The chairman and the vice chairman of the Mora school board have gotten into a war of words via e-mail.
Their differences are over the use of a district credit card and issues surrounding the hiring of Leroy “Huero” Sanchez as interim superintendent.
On Dec. 16, Vice Chairman George Trujillo sent an e-mail to Chairman Joseph Griego, copied to other board members. He questioned what the pay and length of the contract would be for Sanchez, who took over just days before when the district put the superintendent, Dora Romero, on leave.
