Mora County Notebook: Annie Vigil celebrates her 80th birthday

The children of Annie Vigil honored her on her 80th birthday with a lovely family gathering at the St.Gertrude’s Parish Hall in Mora on Saturday, Feb. 5. The large family gathered, bringing much love, gifts, food and music and poems honoring their mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Kathy, her daughter. representing the children, presented her with a dozen red roses, one for each child she bore, and a white rose to honor her late husband, Gabino, who passed away on June 27, 2010.
